Regular price £0.00This is a listing for booking the Sewing Machine Services by Graham Hughes Sewing on 17th/18th February. All machines have to be booked in prior to drop off.
You will need to drop off your machine between 10th and 16th February (or earlier by prior arrangements).
Your machine will be ready for collection as soon as it's been serviced on 17th February but they will be available for collection by 10am on Monday 19th February at the latest.
Cost:
1) Mechanical sewing machine £55
2) Overlocker and computerised machine £65, for computerised machine, only the mechanical part will be looked at and they will not be able to work on computer programming for your machine.
You do not have to pay on booking but you'll need to make payment directly to 'Graham Hughes Sewing' either by cash, bank transfer or cheque. They will not be able to accept card payments.
Please label your machine with your name, contact number (in case the technician would like to discuss your machine with you) and any specific fault(s) you would like them to look at (excluding programming issues / computer issues). Please note that this is a mobile sewing machine service and we can look at minor faults / issues with sewing machine but if your machine has a known fault (already diagnosed by another company) and need specific repairing done in a workshop, this might not be suitable for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us prior to booking.
Once we received your order and cleared payment, we aim to ship your order within 2-3 working days. We are currently shipping on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays ONLY. If you have a very time sensitive order please contact us prior to placing order.

Next working day delivery £9.00, cut off time 10am on Shipping day (currently Monday, Wednesday & Friday); Order ship on Friday with next working day delivery will be delivered on Monday.

International shipping:
You are responsible for paying the import tax and duty for your own country and it will be collected by your custom officials / postal services directly from you at delivery (we DO NOT collect any tax or duty on their behalf.)

How are our fabrics sold?
You can choose your length required.
For quilting cotton, quarter metre can be cut as Fat Quarter or Long Quarter.
For dressmaking fabric, quarter metre will be cut as Long Quarter
ONE Quarter metre in FAT quarter piece measures approximately 50cm x 55cm.
ONE Quarter metre in LONG quarter piece measures approximately 25cm x width of fabric.
ONE Half metre piece measures approximately 50cm x width of fabric.
ONE 0.75 metre piece measures approximately 75cm x width of fabric.
ONE 1 metre piece measures approximately 100cm x width of fabric.
If more than ONE is ordered, you will receive a CONTINUOUS LENGTH.
Can we supply fabrics in continuous lengths?
Yes, unless otherwise stated, all multiples quantity purchased will be sent in one continuous piece.
What is a 'fat' quarter?
A fat quarter is a quarter metre of fabrics, cut to about 50cm x width of fabric. Please see the diagram below.
