This is a high-quality nylon zipper with a #5 coil that mimics the look of metal teeth, making it both stylish and durable. It's ideal for bag-making or projects requiring a sturdier zipper. The continuous coil design allows you to add zipper pulls from either direction, perfect for creating double-pull zippers. Simply cut the tape to your desired length for a custom fit.
Coordinate your zipper tape with your fabric and match the nylon coil teeth to your bag hardware for a professional, polished finish. Nylon coils are easy to cut and sew, making them a practical choice for your creative projects.
To install the zip pulls to the zipper:
1) Open one end of the zipper by a few inches, as the coil works both ways, it doesn't matter which end you open.
2) Holding the zipper pull, with the round side down, slide one side of the zipper tape up into the slider. Don't pull it all the way through, stop just when it catches inside. Hold this with one hand.
3) Slide the other side of the tape up into the slider with the other hand. Once you feel the resistance from the other tape, gently push both tape through the pull with equal pressure. Once you can see both tape emerge from the other end of the pulls with teeth locked in place correctly, you can firmly pull the zipper pull down.

How are our fabrics sold?
You can choose your length required.
For quilting cotton, quarter metre can be cut as Fat Quarter or Long Quarter.
For dressmaking fabric, quarter metre will be cut as Long Quarter
ONE Quarter metre in FAT quarter piece measures approximately 50cm x 55cm.
ONE Quarter metre in LONG quarter piece measures approximately 25cm x width of fabric.
ONE Half metre piece measures approximately 50cm x width of fabric.
ONE 0.75 metre piece measures approximately 75cm x width of fabric.
ONE 1 metre piece measures approximately 100cm x width of fabric.
If more than ONE is ordered, you will receive a CONTINUOUS LENGTH.
Can we supply fabrics in continuous lengths?
Yes, unless otherwise stated, all multiples quantity purchased will be sent in one continuous piece.
What is a 'fat' quarter?
A fat quarter is a quarter metre of fabrics, cut to about 50cm x width of fabric. Please see the diagram below.
